In association with NAB central office, Nepal Association of Blind Kavre has started the saving-credit program for the blinds and partially sighted persons with the objective of improving their economic and social status and to create the habit of saving little sum of money. It has been started from May 2005. 22 blinds and partially sighted persons, 4 their guardians and one helping member are directly involved in the program till date. There is one five member executive committee in coordination of Mr. Kaushal Kumar Rayamajhi. It has own bank A/c in Agricultural Development Bank, Banepa Branch and has collected more than Rs. 5,000 as saving and started the credit also.

On 17 th September 2005, the 9 th annual convention of Nepal Association of Blind, Kavre Branch was successfully concluded. The Chair Person of NGOCC Kavre Branch Mr. Shankha Buddha Lama was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony and chairman of DOCC kavre Mr. Mani Raj Shrestha, chair person of Nepal Bar Association Kavre and vice chair person of Kavre Deaf Development Association Miss Krishna Pyari Nakarmi and others were the other guests. On the function Branch Secretary Mr. Kaushal Kumar Rayamajhi and Treasurer Miss Binda Bhurtel had presented the Annual Progress Report and Future Plans and the Financial Report of NAB Kavre respectively. Chairman of the Branch Mr. Prem Krishna Pathak had presided the function. After the completion of the inaugural ceremony, the closed session of the convention was held on the same date and passed the Annual Progress Report 2004/005 and Future plan 2005/006 presented by Branch secretary Mr. Kausjhal Kumar Rayamajhi and the Financial Report presented by the Treasurer Miss Binda Bhurtel.
